The Linden Tree Inn was originally built in the 1850's as a private residence for a young couple that owned one of the local granite quarries. The Inn is the former home of the Anson Stimson family. Since the 1920's  it has been an  inn.  We aim to ensure a friendly home-like atmosphere where our guests receive our personal attention.

All rooms have AC and private bath and are non-smoking for your comfort;

we also have our own 20 car parking lot for your convenience

Our Sunroom is perfect to enjoy coffee, read the paper, relax, and make a few new friends

The Carriage house cottages are  small apartments with plenty of room and amenities, ideal for longer stays and or family groups. There are new decks off the back of the Carriage house that guests can enjoy.  We do family rates for these cottages and we can add a cot for an extra child or teen. You can park right outside the carriage house and can  also enjoy all the amenities of the main house. They have small kitchenettes, cable and AC.
